    The instructions suggest that it might take 7-14 days for the animals to grow irritated and depart. It’s been three weeks since I placed these devices out, and it looks that my condition has just worsened. They seem to have attracted additional critters, and there is now an underground gopher party in my yard. These gadgets produce a loud and unpleasant (to humans) buzzing noise that may be heard across the yard. I’ve even heard them go off when standing inside next to a closed window. Don’t attempt to relax outdoors with them going off. Even with the ground softened by recent rains, installation was difficult. The blunt plastic does not penetrate the ground effectively, and you must be cautious not to break them when attempting to get them into the ground. Needless to say, I am returning them.

    I carefully followed the directions, and I have a tiny backyard, but this did not assist our new gopher buddy at all. Strangely, it seems that he boosted his tunneling after installing them. It’s also worth noting that they generate a quite loud buzz, which my neighbors complained about. We spend a lot of time in the yard, so this was basically a no-go for us. At least three of the units had condensation within the solar region at the top, which I found disturbing. Perhaps this product works for other animals, however it didn’t assist our problem at all. I left the units run for almost two weeks, just in case they took longer to operate as the manufacturer had said, but this gopher was creating Swiss cheese out of my yard until I decided to return them.

    Moles started to take over our lovely lawns, leaving behind the large dirt mounds seen in the picture. I purchased these solar-powered mole deterrent spikes to urge them to go on, perhaps to the green area across the street! I scattered these spikes across my grass and shared some with my neighbor. You may hear the “buzz” every few seconds. Supposedly, the moles dislike the sound. The spikes do not detract from the aesthetics of your landscape. They are readily put into position and do not need batteries since they are solar powered. I’m looking forward to seeing the effects when the moles move on from my lovely grass!

    These are well-made, charge quickly, buzz occasionally, and are simple to install. Green lights are on. We had one gopher mound yesterday, and a second one today, just close to the working solar repellents. They are not deterring these Floida gophers! I wish they worked!!

    I bought them for my backyard (the fenced-in area for my dogs) since they were a safe method to keep my dogs safe. They’re wonderful, to be honest. I’ve seen a lot less mole traces in the ground, and they seem to work. I have five in a limited place because I believe more is better. The only problem is noise. I expected the vibration to be quite quiet. It makes a lot of noise, particularly because 5 alarms go off every 20 seconds. It took many days for my dogs to stop freaking out and wanting to attack them. And, being in a rural region with generally peace and quiet, this sound isn’t exactly what I’d like to listen to while sitting on my back porch. That being said, I’ll take it if it’s safe for my infants, but I’ll absolutely use other methods to get rid of the annoying moles in my front yard and surrounding fenced-in area.

    These lights were ideal for use along the tiny pedestrian path connecting the driveway to the home. They are little, so you may want to get two packets. I love that they aren’t an eyesore by being excessively big.This is the second time I’ve bought them, and I adore them. They work well, and I have a large yard, so the photo shows our yard. We had moles last year since I didn’t use them, so I bought them again and put them in mole holes! The only thing we need to remember is to remove them when we mow.

My brother advised I get a set of them since they’ve worked so well for him; I did, and I’ve noticed no fresh heaps of dirt in my yard. You will need to place them approximately 40 feet apart or closer, so make sure you get enough to cover your whole yard. These are fantastic!!

    Let me tell you that I used this 8 pack to keep my 100 x 180 ft property mole-free. They make a long, calm beep every 30 seconds or so. It repels the moles and alerts you that they are working. So far, they’ve weathered rain and snow and are still going. I considered bringing them inside for the winter, but I didn’t want any moles creeping in until it was warm enough.”

    “I placed two packs of these around 8 feet apart in the gardens. The moles are still present, but they’ve migrated to the garden’s edge. So, although they serve as a little deterrent, they are ineffective for the expense. NO WAY will these function at the claimed distance. At 10 feet away, the critters appear to be content.

    I first bought them in early 2022 to deal with a gopher issue. They were devouring the roots of my cactus and agave, and our soil is too hard to employ traps efficiently. These seem to work, since we have not had a gopher in over a year, until lately. When I checked on these devices, the majority of them had ceased operating. I dismantled some of them to see if the battery was just faulty or if there was another issue. They corroded on the inside due to the transparent plastic cover and the lack of sealer on the screws.
    So I got a new set, removed all of the transparent plastic covers, and used a bead of waterproof sealant over all of the edges, screw holes, and silicone switch cover. Time will tell whether this extends life. Regardless, they’re worth the money. Also, you don’t have to clean them every few months.

    Aside from the fact that only 7 of the 8 spikes in the package functioned, the beep it emits is rather loud. I honestly assumed one of my neighbors would come on my door and beg me to turn it off. Fortunately, they didn’t. Personally, I find them excessively loud.
