    Our cat loves this lounger it took a while to figure out how to use it on our window, but it is quite comfortable and doesn’t harm the glass frame.

    My cat was really heavy, thus we had to patch up the cn portion since the velcro was unable to hold his bulky frame. However, he now loves it and uses it every day.My two cats weigh around 6 pounds each. I placed an order for the big, 50-pound hammock. Since I placed it up two hours ago, one of my cats hasn’t taken his eyes off it. They like gazing outside the window. Just now, I placed another order for two. My window can’t shut or open fully the way it’s configured since it slides from left to right. However, I am certain that my other windows, which are movable, will work flawlessly.

    With so much room to sprawl on the slender window sill, my kittens were attempting to do just that. It is not too hard to put together. All you have to do is make sure the Velcro tabs aren’t coming undone on occasion.

    This is worthless. The cloth comes off if a cat jumps on it. No matter how the Velcro is positioned, your cat won’t be held in place. The new cat I acquired weighs not even two pounds. She is not held by this. It’s complete garbage. If I could, I would give it a zero.

    Was not pleased with the construction’s use of Velcro. It’s adorable, but you have to make sure the animal doesn’t fall through by sewing the cloth. Next, I cut some imitation lambswool material into little pieces and placed them on top. I can then switch them around as I clean one.

    My feline is smitten with her new window seat! When positioned in the window, it is very robust and spacious for her. After approximately 2.5 months, one of the legs on the first perch I got had a problem (the screws keeping the leg in place were peeling the wood of the leg). After I contacted the seller/manufacturer, they gave me a replacement perch with better legs (that is, ones with strengthened casings to prevent future stripping). The level of client service was excellent!

    I previously bought a little version of this cat window seat and I really liked it! I got a second one, but I went with the huge one since my cats were fighting over who got to sit in it all the time. It does not at all make me happy! To begin with, the bed sling is entirely different from the original. Because of its extreme elasticity, I’ve seen my cat’s legs or torso slipping through the sling on several times. Secondly, it is difficult to alter the frame. I have to keep attempting to tighten the knobs to keep the window frame from slipping. I’m so sad I purchased this. I had assumed that the huge and tiny would be of equal quality. Whoa, I was incorrect.

    This is a rather cool window shelf that can be permanently put without drilling and lets cats gaze out the window. Having said that, placing some metal tabs between the window sill and the movable window itself is essential to securing the shelf. The material is under stress as a result. I believe that my composite vinyl windows are suitable for small to medium-sized cats. Heavy cats could be easier to manage for metal windows. Alternatively, the manufacturer may adjust the design to increase the width of the tabs, which would further disperse the load.

The no-drill installation was easy and took less than 20 minutes, and the strong wood and aluminum frame provides excellent stability. The form of the perch makes it versatile; my cat loves to lounge in the sun and observe birds from her new, higher perch, and I can quickly remove it to utilize the floor. She often takes afternoon naps on the bed because it is so soft and pleasant. Regretfully, it is not specified in the instructions whether side of the pad should be facing up. Based on the season, I believe you may utilize either side. Since it’s winter, I turned up the sherpa side. You may wish to pay attention to the location of the connection buttons that keep the two pieces of metal together while screwing the metal bars into the side rails. I discovered that they stick out a little bit and might be unpleasant for an animal that like to hover close to edges, especially when they stick straight up or towards the surface the cat is supposed to lie on. It is visually nice to look at the design work in the wood.

Since I have a cat window, I wasn’t concerned about the window’s ability to shut, and the little gap it made made it ideal for the bracket. I can understand how you could move the metal brackets back to provide the glass space to shut in the event that things change.

Indeed, the frame does provide some degree of modification for usage with certain window sills. The cat finds it difficult to approach because of the large black tightening knobs. However, my cat would need the velcro adjusted when she starts climbing up and down the bed. Although the frame is robust and well-made, I believe it would have been preferable to have sleeves that were double or triple stitched so that the rods could be removed and cleaned.     It’s summer, and I opened the window for the first time in months, therefore my cat can no longer use it since the portion that rests on the window for support has damaged. He cannot be supported since the wood is peeled and the screw broke out of it. Since I don’t have a drill, trying to drill a hole would probably cause the wood to break.     I purchased this since it mounts to the window without the need of suction cups. My fear was that my 14-pound son might decide to leap up just as the cups decided to release. This one can be adjusted to sit level thanks to the metal portion that slides in between the window and the window frame and the wood sections at the bm that move forward and backward. I’m not using it right now, however, since when my cats sat on it, they dragged the wooden frame away from the window regardless of where I put the blocks on the bm, and I saw that the joint in the wooden frame was splitting at the corner. I worry that if I spend too much time doing that, my windows may be damaged. I considered mounting it on one of my windows with metal frames, but I realized it would pull too much on the metal. This will eventually be placed in a cat room that I am constructing, and I want to install a 1 by 2 slat underneath the window for it to latch into. Without causing any harm to the window, it need to function as effectively as securing it to the frame.

We will now attempt to use Apoxsee adhesive to bind the threads since the return window included clothing. Unfortunately, not that robust. Although the kitties like it, it has to be repaired or replaced sooner than I would want.Easy to construct and works well. Looks sturdy and well-built. Most importantly, our princess adores it.Even though my cat isn’t overweight, I observed that it is drooping to one side after a few months. And sure enough, I hear him tumble, and I see that a whole side has fallen off. Even though he isn’t that fat, all he does is lie on it, and it couldn’t support his weight. Haha

    The way the bm is constructed, it cannot fit within the window opening while allowing the window to shut.
    Quick Fix drilled two holes in the widow seal and fastened it with screws; it works flawlessly. My feline adores it. I have a screen on my window, so I can keep it open during this wonderful weather, and my cat enjoys the fresh air and the sound of the birds and frogs.

    This is the ideal accommodation with a view for our kitties. It came exactly in time for us to move into a new condo, so I could immediately set it up. It only takes a few minutes to assemble, and it is quite simple. I put it in the window once it was completed and tightened the knobs. The kitties had to give it a go as soon as I set it up. They had no issue reaching it since we had recently relocated and had storage tubs heaped up near the window.

    Once again, installing and assembling this in a window was rather simple. Since then, I’ve built steps to make it easier for them to go up there, and I want to build a few more. Regardless of the time of day, at least one of our three cats regularly uses it. We want to install them in almost every room since they are so often used. I heartily suggest it as of right now, but only time will tell how it stands up.

    Since getting it, all I’ve had to do is tighten the knobs again since the platform began to sink. It didn’t move until I had to turn the knobs quite hard.

    Because our house is built with 2x6s, the sills are somewhat broad. This implies that the cat bed is essentially sitting on the sill for the most part. Worse, the portion that is not on the sill merely sags, so your cat will either sit awkwardly, half on the hard sill and half sinking into the hammock, or lay on the sill. Regardless, our cat did not sleep on the fabric-covered sill or use it as a bed; instead, she periodically perched on it. Although the bed’s dual use as a stand-alone piece is appealing, I believe there are better solutions in that area.

    I like this cat window perch and how it attaches to the window frame using brackets rather than suction cups. It is important to note that while this indicates that the window may be completely closed even with this in place, I am unable to do that with any of my windows. Using the Allen wrench that included with the package, all further tools were not needed to assemble this, which was really simple to do. This cat bed/perch’s very soft fabric is affixed to the poles with sturdy Velcro, allowing it to be removed for washing whenever necessary. When my cat is on it, there are no problems with the Velcro coming undone or anything. It’s quite simple to modify to suit your window precisely. I heartily endorse. For $29.99, this perch is reasonably priced, but it’s not the best, in my view. My adores this cushion, rolling around on it and rubbing his head all over it.

Make careful to measure the window where you want to use this product, not the size of your cat. The larger one is limited to certain window sizes. A couple occasions, my kitties have fallen through the Velcro pad. To prevent your cat from falling through the Velcro, it’s crucial to regularly inspect it. Other than that, it is well-built and does not harm the window or wall.

Although I thought it was adjustable, it doesn’t seem to be for the 21-inch width. This means that Miss Kitty can only use it as a hassock on the ground, which is rather frustrating! I did take a picture of the window that fit that I borrowed from someone else. It’s constructed of bamboo and seems well-crafted. I wish there had been an option to modify the width.     Our cats enjoy sunbathing, napping, and seeing the outside world from their window perches. We covered the exterior of the window with a one-way film (birds cannot look in, but cats can), hung a window bird feeder, and positioned it there.

    They like having this platform to see birds! Even if it’s a respectable size, they still struggle for the room to allow them to roam and follow the birds. Installing and assembling it was not too difficult. Its lack of reliance on suction cups, which eventually wear out, is something I admire. It must be rather comfy since they will spend the whole day sleeping, sunbathing, and watching birds from this perch.

Although the instructions may not seem clear at first, there is a part that explains how to adjust the black metal tabs that hook on your glass if you look attentively. For me, it was sufficient to move them up so they reached beyond the wood and shut the window all the way. I keep it open for the cat on good days, but sometimes I do want it closed.

    This perch’s construction is of really poor quality; the wood is quite fragile, and the screws from both ends sheared out of the wood when my cat jumped up. While it was working, both of my cats liked it, however this specific product is of very poor quality.

    Although my cat loves this cat window perch, there are a few minor design issues in it. Even with the included cushioning, the supports do not sit flat to the wall as intended if the surround of your window sills is in the form of crown molding. If your window is firmly positioned in the sash, you may not be able to shut it all the way. Since the velcro is the only thing holding the actual sling portion in place, your cat may fall through if they are somewhat overweight. The sherpa lining also attracts hair, dust, lint, and other tiny particles, therefore it must be often cleansed to avoid it looking unclean all the time.

The screws on one side immediately removed a metal component that was within the pre-drilled holes.     The kitties appeared to appreciate it and I got one of them with a half price discount. Both legs snapped off very soon, and when I called the company to get replacement parts, they advised me to use glue. They didn’t have extra parts, so after some negotiation, they decided to send me a replacement. I had to use an additional bolt that came with the replacement device since one of the thumb screws is the incorrect size. I managed to get the old one operating again after two attempts and a lot of adhesive. Instead of being window mounted, both of mine are set up to be free standing.

    Don’t bother with this unless you have a window that has no sill at all and you don’t mind having a window open at all times. My house is rather ancient, and it has both modern and original windows. I’m not aware of any window that this shelf might fit with. Examine the sketch of the shelf that is connected to the window carefully (I didn’t!). The wall below descends directly from the window frame. To ensure stability, the shelf must be secured to the window frame by opening the window, hooking the shelf into place, and then shutting the window over the hook. In order to latch (lock) the window, the flat hook attachments are not sufficiently thin. It’s just an awfully planned notion gone wrong.

    My newly acquired kitten, who is rather young, just found out that I made him this hammock. I tried it on the floor as well as the window. No matter where I put it, he adored it and didn’t seem to mind. It’s the greatest cat toy we can get, which is why I’m giving it five stars.

    It also has a good appearance and is quite strong. Since I’ve never had the suction cup mounts work for anything put that way, I didn’t attempt them. Every every thing that was attached to a suction cup has dropped, frequently sooner than anticipated. I decided not to take a chance since I dislike surprises and loud sounds. I also don’t want to put my cat in danger, even though it shouldn’t be an issue.

    I suggest using this hammock. It’s one of the greatest things I’ve ever used for my kitties.

    The one problem I had, which I hoped it would solve, was that I had beautiful molding beneath the ledge on all of my window sills. Although I can tuck the legs below, the hammock will then sit at an angle. Although it works, this increases the strain on the vinyl frame where the brackets are attached. In order to maintain it at the proper 90* angle until we can do a more permanent repair, we are now utilizing foam blocks as a temporary modification. But this is in no way a criticism on the product. I would want to draw attention to any ornamental molding or other materials that may be underneath the preferred hanging places for other people.

The pad/bed portion is made of soft, thick material, and the assembly was really simple. The materials are of excellent quality. Naturally, it won’t fit everywhere, but if it does, it’s a good perch for your cat.I’ve been searching for a cat perch for a while, but the most of them depend on some kind of suction cup attachment to the window, which I would never trust in terms of my cat’s safety. I eventually took a risk since this one doesn’t need any and it genuinely seemed to have a sturdy and safe construction. I was overjoyed to get what all the photographs seemed to promise when it came. The hardware, wood, hammock, and steel brackets all have a high-end appearance and feel. I didn’t realize from the photo or description that the hammock’s two wood sides are really fastened together with metal rods. After assembly, this device was sturdy! Using this doesn’t make me worry about my cat’s safety. The hammock is reversible, having a fleece-like feel on one side and a more sherpa-like material on the other. It has multiple screw-in points on each side to firmly keep the position and a large adjustable range. Additionally, it has a very lovely finishing touch from the pattern carved out of the wood. My two kitties have already made use of it, and one of them has even declared it her new location. They adore it just as much as I had anticipated.
