    This was the quickest and most straightforward Wi-Fi repeater setup I have ever experienced! While the software was excellent, the instructions were excellent as well. In less than fifteen minutes. The majority of that duration was spent reinitializing. After plugging it up next to your router and setting it up, you move it halfway between the router and the area that needs more power. Plug it into the designated spot, and just like magic, it starts operating as soon as it initializes. It has been placed for approximately two weeks, and thus far there have been no issues!

    My internet router has a 300 Mbps download speed. This extension is linked to the wall around 25 to 30 feet distant. Nothing is obstructing the router’s ability to see clearly. I can obtain an average connection speed of 25 Mbps from it. I had hoped for a somewhat quicker pace. This will work if all you need is a sluggish connection; if not, try looking elsewhere.

    I used the device to increase my old dual band router’s range. I had to suspend my VPN in order for setup to proceed, and then I finished it with live assistance. The device has enhanced the functionality of streaming services on TVs remote from the router and filled in certain dead areas. There may be more clarification and depth in the instructions, especially on the network to connect to. I now have three choices when I switch on Wi-Fi on my phone: the two router bands and the Ma card, which appears as a different network. Which should one select? All things considered, a mesh system would probably be more expensive but better for a large home.

    The product functioned once I installed it, however I had some installation issues. From 700 mbps to 2 mbps, I plummeted. For those who are unaware, it is very terrible. It seems like it chews up my WiFi, giving me just 0.28% of the speed I had before, instead of even 1%. My router is downstairs in my two-story home. Along with my initial router, I had a very inexpensive attachment that was far more effective. I was let down by it.

    The brochure’s instructions state to turn off data roaming, and the website includes a video that demonstrates turning on airplane mode. This piece of garbage can’t even access the webpage that leads to the wifi setup in the first place, after trying both. The whole point of attempting to connect to the internet and visit a webpage in ORDER to configure the wifi extender is essentially defeated when you have to switch off data. Makes absolutely no sense at all.

    After comparing a few brands side by side, the Macard turned out to be the best option.The setup process didn’t exactly excite me since it needed you to log on to an external website, which wasn’t necessary for any of the other devices. Though I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first, this repeater proved to be the most reliable and cost-effective device I tested, with the longest range.(br>I connected an exterior building with a WiFi router located around 100 feet away from the main building using this method. I used to have no WiFi signal in the exterior building, but now I have full signal. Really pleased with this device.

    It seemed to run for a while and set up rather well. Subsequently, everything was just moving too slowly, experiencing connection issues, and losing connections.(br>Although the product fumbled in my application, it may be an excellent one.     It’s been operating for almost a week now, and everything is going well. Although I can’t recall every detail, setup was simple and fast. Since I didn’t need tech help, I am unable to comment. I’m not sure whether the three stars should be three or fewer. They are neutral. In order to expand to my detached garage, I purchased this device. To obtain a strong enough signal out there, I did had to be cautious with positioning (around 50 feet distant with two brick barriers to go trough). The positioning was done such that, as seen in the picture (this is the view from the extension), the signal could pass through my back door, clearing one brick wall, and enter my garage. A ring camera is visible through the brick wall right inside, and it functions well. That’s all, I’m content.

    How these other reviews describe this product as being as easy as plug and play is beyond me, since it is not. Setting everything up took over forty-five minutes, and that included talking with a Macd tech. Install instructions are really confusing and exclude some important information. Though it has only been 30 minutes, it seems to be operating as of right now. The true test will come when I attempt to watch HBO in my bedroom later tonight when internet traffic starts to build up.
