Overall, this stuff is fantastic. My two kitties are fighting over it, so I’m going to have to get another one. Its potential incompatibility with some Windows is the sole issue. It doesn’t bother me much that there is a little space at the bm of the window for my windows. Would suggest others use this stuff.I adore this window bed in its entirety. My cat is infatuated with it. He looks at butterflies, squirrels, birds, and other creatures on it for a long time. It amuses him. It is very simple to assemble, and I like that you can move the bed about the home without using any tools by just taking it out of one window and placing it on another. This is a very nice window perch. The wood is thick and strong, and the canvas is sturdy. It comes with the tool to assemble it, so I was able to put it together in about 20 minutes.

This is unusual for an Asian market, so I commend the vendor for this. On the other hand, the vendor with the hammock has wisely chosen to showcase two people using the hammock. This product was great in theory, but as soon as it was assembled, I knew my cat would never utilize it.
The problem is in the material on top, even if the wood frame is flawless and fits well on window ledges.
My cat wasn’t solid at all when I placed him on it; he kept sliding down near the holes because the material wasn’t taught. It has velcro on two sides, but not on the other two. As a result, there’s no support there.
Would they not descend toward the apertures if you covered everything with a blanket, perhaps?

Using an old trick that used to work, I would like to try something here that I haven’t tried yet (more than other solutions). I would stick one or two toothpicks in the hole (in this case, the stripped hole without the threading alloy pieces seen in my palm), snap off the excess at the flush, and then screw the top in place. The toothpicks should act as anchors throughout.

The bolts were really difficult to screw in; they were exceedingly resistive and often only went so far before movement completely stopped. The procedure was fast and easy since I used spray cooking oil to grease the nuts and rods. Since it doesn’t seem like the supplied sticky strips are readily removed, I’ve decided to use 3M strips in the hopes that the walls will stay spotless. The cat, too, could not give a damn. I’ve been searching for a cat perch for a while, but the most of them depend on suction cups to adhere in some way to the window, which is something I would never trust in the interest of my cats’ safety. I eventually took a risk since this one doesn’t need any and it genuinely seemed to have a sturdy and safe construction. I was overjoyed to get what all the photographs seemed to promise when it came. The hardware, wood, hammock, and steel brackets all have a high-end appearance and feel. I didn’t realize from the photo or description that the hammock’s two wood sides are really fastened together with metal rods. After assembly, this device was sturdy! Using this doesn’t make me worry about my cat’s safety. The hammock is reversible, having a fleece-like feel on one side and a more sherpa-like material on the other. It has multiple screw-in points on each side to firmly keep the position and a large adjustable range. Additionally, it has a very lovely finishing touch from the pattern carved out of the wood. My two kitties have already made use of it, and one of them has even declared it her new location. They adore it just as much as I had anticipated.

It takes around five minutes to assemble and an additional five to install. The cats quickly adapted to it. The side supports somewhat, but it’s twisted, so it shouldn’t be an issue. The hammock portion is made of soft material and is secured in place with tons of velcro. My medium-sized cat is more than large enough for one. To test its durability, we tried both of our cats on it; however, it would probably be better to use it with only one at a time. Ideal for kitties that like soaking up the sun or people/bird watching!

The printed instructions were a little unclear, but the installation videos saved me. Especially the one that demonstrated how to adjust the metal supports. Until then, I was disappointed thinking I would not be able to use the hammock in my windows.

The main problem is that the threads within the legs are not secure (as shown by the alloy composition in the palm of my hand). These are *NOT* within the leg when the product is delivered. This means that since the frame has been stripped, the screws (with the black thumb top) that hold the legs to the frame cannot be inserted.

Four wooden dowels that screw together to create two long wooden dowels make up this perch. The dowels have holes drilled in them on both ends. The side rails are fastened to the ends of the two long dowels using four screws. Nevertheless, two of the holes were bored excessively large, making it difficult for the screws to grip and tighten them firmly. I inserted three wooden matches into the larger holes, and once they had something to bite into, I was able to tighten the screws. It could be an isolated incident in terms of quality control, but I had anticipated a simpler design and easier assembly. I’m not sure whether the cat will enjoy it or not since I just finished mounting it on a window sill, but I’m sure there are better-quality cat perches out there.

However, keep in mind that this item is only compatible with old fashioned or classic windows; it will not work with more contemporary windows that have recessive sills. On the other hand, basic framed windows that glide straight down into the wood frame are ideal.

Love it, or more importantly, our cats love it! It’s easy to use and adapts to any size window ledge. The only reason it didn’t receive a 5-star rating is that the hammock velcro closes around the support bars, so I’m not sure if heavy cats would loosen this. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it seems secure. It would be ideal if the bars slid through sewn channels in the hammock before assembling, but that would make washing the hammock difficult.

This is constructed of canvas instead of the soft covering we’ve had on previous perches, but cat seems very comfy in it. It seems that he will grow into a large kid, so maybe the hammock will fit him. Only time will tell. Additionally, it seems that the canvas will remain cleaner than the plush. It’s quite strong even without any drilling. At first, we were a bit worried that it might pull on the bm portion of the window to which it is connected, but it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Though thus far, so nice, I wish the wood frame on the sides had rounded edges rather than sharp ones. Our cat gives it a paws-up, plus it looks good and is reasonably priced!

The wood arms are half the size of the one I purchased earlier. Without my cat on it, this would have fallen apart totally if I hadn’t seen this problem in front. Since the wooden rods were considerably stronger, they need simply just go back to using them to link the arms together. There is no reliable method to put things together after the plug slides out of the rod.

My feline adores this! Works very nicely and is really easy to build.includes all the parts you need to construct the product, including instructions that are rather well written. It took less than ten minutes to assemble. Regretfully, it is not specified in the instructions whether side of the pad should be facing up. Based on the season, I believe you may utilize either side. Since it’s winter, I turned up the sherpa side. You may wish to pay attention to the location of the connection buttons that keep the two pieces of metal together while screwing the metal bars into the side rails. I discovered that they stick out a little bit and might be unpleasant for an animal that like to hover close to edges, especially when they stick straight up or towards the surface the cat is supposed to lie on. It is visually nice to look at the design work in the wood.

I like this hammock for cats. It comes assembled with screws and seems to be laser-cut birch plywood. When assembled, it has a substantial feel. Although they are brief, the instructions are not actually necessary. A little Phillips head screwdriver was included in the set, which is a bit of a fail since the screw heads need a hexagon bit. Thank goodness I had the correct piece. Two slings are included with the hammock; one is made of canvas and the other is faux fur. The canvas is ideal since my cat doesn’t like hairy materials. For my 13-pound cat, the slings are attached to the rods using strong Velcro that won’t come off. I exerted pressure and tugged on the sling, but it remained tight. When I first bought this, I had no idea how it hung on the window. The brackets rest on the wall under the window, with two hooks on the rear that rest over the lip of the window frame. It is held in place by four locking nuts that tighten on the brackets. Since the hammock is high in the window, I will need to raise and lower it every day in order to shut my shade at night. Size important, and this hammock fits where your window frame has a lip. I feel that since the hammock is a little too large, the hook on the right isn’t completely in the window. The bracket is sufficiently sturdy to remain in place, but the amount of force required to insert it between the window frame components makes me uneasy. I may shift the right bracket to the left and put a board across the back. Thus, measure first. The width of each hook on my hammock is 1 and it is 21 3/4 broad. All in all, I’m rather pleased with this. All I need to do now is persuade my cat!

After you turn the knobs, it’s a pretty intelligent product. Because my cat is so large, I always check the knobs as I go by the window. It hasn’t damaged the wall yet, and my cat seems at ease in it!

This combined cat perch and hammock bed is significantly simpler to assemble if you view the assembly video online rather than relying just on the rather shakily translated printed instructions. Still, I ran across a few issues. One of the metal poles broke off at a screw end as I was connecting the sherpa bedding, so I had to reconnect it with epoxy so it could support the weight of a cat, even though I thought I was nearly done. I had to find a substitute when I realized that the paper coverings on the protective felted pads, which were supposed to peel off to reveal the adhesive, wouldn’t peel off without also destroying the glue. There were six of these pads available. After completing all of that, I was able to place the perch next to our bird feeders in a sunny window, where the cats like it. However, keep in mind that assembly can cost a bit more than you anticipated.
