I plugged in my wifi and tried to connect it to my network, but it said my password is invalid< Obviously, if your password is too long or contains special characters, this WiFi extender cannot connect to it. When I asked if there was a model that could be connected to it, I was pointed out to a model that was twice the price. Is there no indication in the information that there is a limit to the length of your password? I have never heard of such a thing before< My password is very long, which means it is more secure, so I cannot use this extension. I have to pay twice the amount. My ring doorbell uses this system much better than my previous system (Verizon Fios wifi). The interface is better than Verizon’s. One positive factor of technical support is that (in most cases) they are patient and always ready to help you solve problems, even if it’s related to another company such as Harmony or Sonos. There may be other positive factors as well< However, negative factors greatly outweigh positive factors. I spent about 100 hours on technical support to solve the problem. Generally speaking, people are a bit foolish. Once, she asked about the color red. I answered with a red face. She asked if it was plugged in. I said, 'If the LED isn't plugged in, how could it light up?' She agreed that she was just following the script without really thinking. They would tell me that I needed to separate the devices and troubleshoot, and they would tell me to move them closer. Not good. Since my speed is relatively good, why should I buy an extender? It's not always very good. I'm not sure about the root cause, but sometimes my speed drop is below 20 Mb/s. I think an extender can help solve the problem of very poor connectivity and higher consistency, but I'm not willing to give up speed in most cases to get better speed in these situations. (I did conduct speed tests on devices connected via Ethernet and verified that it was not an incoming fiber)< This is a kicker, and these devices are no worse than the dirty AT& T for $50; T is good for outsiders.

The actual router and extender are both of the same small size. Plug and play, but the main router requires an Ethernet cable connection, so it is located at the entry point (master bedroom). There are 2 college students, and my wife sometimes works from home. All of our rooms have full WiFi, and there is also 100 Mbps in the backyard! In addition to my main router, there are 3 extenders, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. The application will tell you how many devices, doorbells, smart TVs, phones, watches, tablets, laptops, refrigerators, and home security systems are accessing WiFi and on which channel (5G or 2.4G). Any firmware and software updates will be downloaded and installed overnight. So far, everything has been great!

I know this review is about extenders, but it is supported by the Euro 6 Pro. The extender and router are located on the same horizontal line, about 40 feet apart. When I check the application, the router will display 16 devices, and the extender will also display 15 devices connected to it. As mentioned by others, add ons actually slow down the speed< I tested it 12 times using two computers and an iPhone. At best, everything is displayed on the first floor, where there is an extender that does not exceed 150Mb (I have 1GB entering the house). When switching to the main Pro 6 router upstairs, at the same location as other tests, I exceeded 500Mb or more.     These routers have 3 issues- The coverage area in square feet does not match the coverage area on the box- My speed randomly crashes and I need to reset the network.     After researching to ensure compatibility between the 6 extender and my Pro mesh system with two plug-in extenders, I purchased it to extend the signal to a TV room where the WiFi signal has always been weak. It took me about half an hour to make the extender work because I had to try it and one of the other extenders in several places before putting them in the right place. Now we have full wifi strength in all rooms of the house, with no problem streaming and using at least one other device at the same time. Mobile applications can easily set up the system, and I like the way to track all the different devices that are connected or already connected to our wifi system.

    There is a previous system that has recently been upgraded to version 6. It is very easy to set up through the application and provides a stable mesh network in my 3-story house. One suggestion is to make sure you have updated the software when setting up the system for the first time – when I first installed it, I had an issue where Nest and other devices couldn’t connect. Then I installed the updated software to and everything was resolved. After using this system in my own home, I even installed a system for one of my friends – I had a host and three expanders, which ensured good coverage of the entire house.

    We have just installed Frontier’s new fiber optic cable system. The Frontier package includes two 6 Pro models. In order to expand the network to the peripheral part of our property, I purchased several cheaper dual band s. I have used other brands of mesh routers, but setting them up is not easy. Setting up these s through the application is very easy. Basically, just insert a new one and wait a moment to integrate it into the system. I have to move some mesh extenders around the house to get the best signal. This is easy to do, just plug in the power and wait for a moment. The signal is very good, and so far, the reliability is excellent

    The connection speed between the extender and the router is very slow, even though I have tried to reposition both multiple times – I have a drop speed of 150mbps, but the maximum speed I get when connecting to the extender is 50, and it intermittently disconnects completely< Br>This application is terrible. It can only run when you have an Internet connection, so you can’t diagnose anything when the Internet is off. The gateway does not have a web interface that can be accessed through LAN. There is no way to test the speed between the extender and the gateway, or to test the Internet speed of the extender (only for the gateway), so there is no effective way to exclude the location of the extender< Overall, for such an expensive product, this is very limited. As long as you get a night eagle and then finish work.

I installed this project and an additional 2700 Pro in my 6 square foot home, reducing the speed by 92% and the distance by only 30 feet. Directly connecting is not much better. Do you want to connect Ring doorbells or some Blink cameras? Forget it< To properly cover my house with this system, I need to invest over $1300. If I had to spend so much money, I would use Ubiquiti – at least I know they are loyal to what they promote< I just can't express my disappointment with this product in words.

The most infuriating part is the random disconnection of connections. You may be 2 inches away from the router, and it will loosen the connection.
