I have read the comments and believe that people think this little thing can do more than it is designed for. I originally bought it to cool down my children’s room a bit in the summer, but I didn’t expect it to be like a real air conditioner, but it might be reduced by one or two degrees. That’s our idea, so we decided to give it a try in our home office while my husband and I are working. This way it will directly point to a person, hoping to be helpful. Freeze the filter again, add ice and cold water, then sit on the table and point directly at my husband. The temperature of the air blown out is actually no different from that of a regular fan, just adding a little moisture. We don’t really need the humidifier part, but that’s how it works. During his 8-hour shift, I can’t tell you how many times I added ice cubes to help it cool down a bit. He ran out of water completely before his lunch break (this thing should last for 10 hours), and the worst thing was that there was only a huge puddle on his desk, even with a tissue and a regular towel underneath. Received today, clearly followed the instructions and watched a detailed video about the setup, from when they opened the box to when it worked. It could have served my purpose as a table fan for blowing cold air (it’s not an air conditioner anyway). However, even on very flat surfaces, it would have leaked from the bottom vent. When I picked it up, it was wet underneath, but the bottom looked well assembled. It could almost hold 2 cups of water, but I only put 1 1/2 cups, and I also put 3 ice cubes. I walked through it with a handkerchief, a towel, and two kitchen towels until all the water was soaked. I tried to call them and they advocated for it to be sent back, but it was shelved after 10 minutes. I gave up. Don’t waste your money on this project. My mistake may not be. It’s your mistake.

We have been using this small cooler for less than a year, and it is no longer powered on. Read through the accompanying manual, which does not contain any suggestions or troubleshooting. I went to the Article Chill FAQ website, but there was no help there either. At first, the job was pretty good, but I managed to get through last summer. I can make this Pure Chill 2.0 device work very well by making a lot of modifications, first by making the ink cartridge tray deeper, installing the original water curtain ink cartridge, placing a sponge protective cover on the atomizer to allow water to drip into the tray, and finally, a float switch in the tray to turn off the atomizer before water overflows from the tray and reopen it when the curtain absorbs water. Yes! This will be a product that works properly – or am I wrong?

The Arctic air is not even close. Not very cold, the beautiful lighting is okay, but it’s not necessary. They serve other purposes? I do like the fact that it’s “extremely” mobile and lightweight. After reading many comments and setting my expectations appropriately, I bought this little thing< This won't be a personal air conditioner. I put it on a shelf a few feet away from my desk, facing me directly. Every few hours or so, I have to take it to the sink to pour out the water and add more ice. I live in So Cal, which is hot and dry, so a humid environment is not a problem. It does feel cooler than the ambient air. Using a thermometer test, the ambient temperature is 82 degrees Celsius, and the temperature at the device vent is 74-77 degrees Celsius. Similarly, not cold, but less than 82. Similarly, it won't cool down the room, it just blows some slightly cooler air directly towards me< Disturbing the ink cartridge seems more like a hassle, so I just keep using it with ice water. Additional tip: If you want to use ice cubes, please add water slightly to less than half and then add ice cubes. When the ice melts, you can add a little more ice one or two times without filling it too full or pouring out some water first< Good product. If/when they are sold again at a cheaper price, I may buy one or two more.

The problem with it suddenly powering on, the issue of it not draining, and even the issue of receiving a replacement for an unusable device that looks just like it has been used before. However, regardless, considering my reliance on these nasal droppings over the years, this is a huge disappointment.

This product does not cool the entire room – it will directly blow cold air (especially if you follow the instructions to add ice cubes to the water and freeze the cooling elements) towards you, but it will not blow out almost enough cold air to cool the room. It will also increase the humidity in the room, making areas away from the equipment feel more sticky due to humidity. This is basically a miniature swamp cooler – so the drier the air, the better it will work – blowing directly on you again. From a value perspective, this is the highest product priced at $15. It is also very noisy in all settings – but in higher settings, I find it difficult to fall asleep. I bought this to try to cool down a very small bedroom that doesn’t get too much air conditioning from the supply vents – the temperature in that bedroom is always 8 to 10 degrees higher. It did not achieve this goal, and I may eventually return it.

I have a larger portable AC power, but it completely depleted my large zero target solar generator< This small device won't be very cold, but it will definitely calm you down. It has a sponge tray, you can wet it and put it in the refrigerator. Then pour the water into the water tank and pour it from the frozen sponge box. A small fan blows air through/across the ice surface. Almost no electricity is used, quite quiet. When ice and sponge melt, it's not as cool, but it can still prevent you from getting hot< I have tried several other models, but they are more expensive and not as good as good. This is the best among any other products of this size< I hope the power can be restored soon, but at least it will become tolerable. I want to buy more

Literally, this is a swamp cooler. If it has and you need something, this may work. I use it in the garage. The felt strip will be placed in the refrigerator when not in use and usually thawed after 15 minutes of use. It generates a lot of humidity, so I won’t use it in a small space. The light is useless.
