    Install next to the modem to program it. It’s not as easy as it says, but moderately easy. Install it in a 2-bedroom wooden structure building, where there is no metal or any type of insulation material on the wall closest to the router location in a similar 2-bedroom building. The structural standards are the same, and the actual router is located on the farthest wall from the repeater. Just as good as a router, in terms of routers. I confirm that I am using this repeater in WiFi settings, but there is a password, not the original router. The indicator light on the device is bright red, indicating poor reception and a distance of about 60 feet from the router and building line of sight. There are no obstacles at all. No matter what people may tell you, WiFi has issues when passing through walls and things. This device is slightly better than the repeater I installed before, it occasionally disconnects, but when I’m in the yard (using an extension cord to find the actual range), and once I enter the building, the old repeater works there most of the time, and I need a better wifi connection, it won’t pick up anything (my wifi router). The new big red X.
