The handbook refers to the screws as thumb screws, however they are too short to even join the major parts. Similarly, the product wobbles and is not sturdy since the screw holes are too big. To provide my cats with a better spot to relax and take in the scenery, I had been searching for ledges or hammocks, but I never imagined that the ones with suction cups might accommodate my bigger cat. Although I had some concerns about how this would fit with my window, everything turned out perfectly! It fits in with the window open or closed, and my bigger cat can sit on it comfortably because of how it lays against the wall. Although they have been together, everything is OK, but there is hardly enough space for one large cat to feel at ease. All in all, I was rather happy with the quality considering the cost! My cat was reluctant to even tread on it, much alone leap upon it, even though it was rather simple to assemble and felt safe when placed properly. He was a little scared since cats want to feel safe beneath their feet and this wasn’t a solid surface. I observe him never lying down or going all the way around on it, even after I tempted him with food to get his front feet on it. In order for this to be helpful, the window must be open. You are not going to be able to keep your window closed. I tested it on a window facing a major road, and I believe my cat was put off by the noise of the cars.

29 June 23 After reading the first review, I’m not happy that I bought two of these and will have to find a new way to keep my cats safe while they sleep because it appears the velcro does not hold up for very long. My smaller cat just fell out of this because the fabric stretched and the velcro is not holding like it used to. I should have learnt my mistake and chosen a sturdy base rather than cloth. My kitties like watching birds via the glass. I’ve been wanting to get another one of these because we already have one. Similar to the last one, assembly only takes a maximum of 15 minutes. The brackets have to be moved forward and up one screw slot in order to fit in my window. And identical to the other. It’s a hammock with Velcro. What about the Velcro? It did eventually come loose after gathering cat fur. My spouse will probably have to do it again with this one since he had to zip tie it through the cloth. Having said that, my kitties like their hammock and use it often; I have no doubt they will utilize this one as well.

With this great habitat, they can rest comfortably while gazing at the garden for a few hours< Perch is very easy to assemble. The pins that secure the furry fabric are divided into two parts, so you only need to use pre installed hardware to screw them together. Then thread the four screws provided through the frame and place them at the end of the pin, and tighten them with the accompanying wrench. Finally, use adjustable screws to loosely secure the two brackets to both sides of the frame. Place the two metal plates on the frame into the gap between the bottom window. Then simply close the window and adjust the wooden bracket to fit tightly against the wall and tighten the adjustable screws. This is all that is needed to ensure its safety. It is very sturdy, even your chubby little cat can jump up, feel comfortable and enjoy< The Velcro that holds the fabric in place is very durable, so you can repeatedly disassemble and clean it, ensuring that it will never loosen< I plan to purchase at least 3 additional habitats so that the cat can pay attention to each side of the house.

It looks good and is really simple to construct, install in the window, remove for cleaning, and relocate. In spite of everything, I only gave it four stars rather than five as one of the three items I purchased was broken. (The hole in the metal pipe was not at the right place.) What a fantastic item for your feline! My cat enjoys sitting on the window sill and is completely smitten with the shelf in one of her windows. The issue was that she was now too large to fit on the window sill. She now spends the most of the day curled up on her kitty shelf. I anticipated hearing back from Airfish offering to repair it or give me a refund. But not a single reply.
