Okay, I’m glad to have my new helicopter to replace the kitchen assistant I have. I really want to like this product, I really like it. The glass bowl is large enough to slice enough beef at once, with a powerful motor that is easy to use. However, after chopping 4 bell peppers, 2 medium-sized onions, and 2 cups of baby carrots, it fell out while chopping garlic cloves. Please note now that this is ready to use out of the box and I just received it tonight The problem with this product is that everything is sturdy, except for the plastic parts that are connected between the motor components and the blades to effectively rotate and shred them. This type of gear is made of cheap plastic, just like a screw stuck on a board. This makes my new chopper practically useless because the blades no longer rotate, so it cannot squat and chop. It looks like I’ve run out of $and it’s back to the kitchaide model with the motor at the bottom.

I like glass bowls! I like it, it’s easier to clean than my last food chopper. However, after using it a few times, trying to restore the top component to its correct sitting position is a nightmare! At some point, it will continue, and next time, you will always try to get it in place correctly. I spent more time trying to get the motor components in place, and ultimately spent 80% of my time doing this instead of the actual task of chopping food. If it weren’t for this issue, this helicopter would have received 5 stars from me Searching for another brand is a waste of my time and, in my opinion, a waste of money.

I use this chopper every day to mash my son’s macaroni and cheese. I think this is due to the wear and tear of the plastic on the top of the blade rod caused by daily use. There is a 4-slot connection (as shown in the figure), if not aligned correctly, the device will not be able to open. However, I encountered two main issues< Firstly, the reliable operation of this device is so frustrating. The first time cutting vegetables is always flawless. The subsequent cutting requires an incredible level of precision to align the motor and blade teeth for the device to truly mesh. If you are not familiar with the operation of these systems, you can complete food shredding by hanging the handheld motor directly on the lid and aligning everything to start processing. The problem is that the Homelander food chopper is very picky and requires almost countless attempts to perfectly align the teeth to start the motor< The second issue is that the quality of the glass bowl is significantly poor. This afternoon, when I put the bowl into the dishwasher, my finger was cut by the sharp edge of the notch on the edge of the bowl. The bowl has never fallen, hit, or collided with any other object. Similarly, I never noticed any defects after unpacking, and there was no evidence of impact damage to the package I received< The only inference I can make is that this is either due to defects in the glass produced by the manufacturer, or due to the glass being fragile and broken when installing the cover. Admittedly, I didn't expect to have a Pyrex bowl, but the fragility/obvious poor quality of this Homelander device is simply ridiculous… especially since I only owned it for a few weeks and used it three times. Buyers, be careful!!
