However, it is simple to install. “BE CAREFUL” while removing them from the ground; do not pull up on the sensor or it will break off. Before attempting to place them in the ground, be sure to dig a large hole. When subjected to excessive force, the plastic spike may buckle.

According to the ad and the exterior of the box, the effective area of coverage per stake was 7000 square feet and should be spaced 70 feet apart. The directions on the literature inside the box for this item indicated that the effective area of coverage is 4000 square feet and that they should be spaced 45 feet apart. This item seems to be identical to hundreds of others for sale at a lower price, and the only reason I purchased them instead was due to bogus marketing information. Get the cheapest ones on the market to save some money.
