I bought this for Christmas and finally set it up last month. We have switched to Frontier’s Internet, and they have provided an 6 router. Before , I used a MEDIALINK WiFi router that worked well for several years, but each floor has a different network. Remember, sometimes we have to adjust our phones or tablets, which is really annoying when we move to different floors. These MEDIALINK devices can also work with 12 VDC, so in case of interruption, I can rest assured that neither Internet service nor my internal network will cause interruption to me. The last utility power issue is that we left the house without electricity for 6 hours, but we can still work on laptops, tablets, and other devices. I have decided to use because there are some comments, but also some feedback from other users. In the initial setup, each camera is connected to UPS to prevent any issues until I can power them with batteries. The first thing I noticed when setting up the system was that several NEST cameras, a YAMAHA receiver, and my Canon 7500 printer didn't like this network and had to temporarily stop the 5GHz section until these devices joined the network. So far, the equipment has been powered by APC UPS, but if there is a power outage, we will not be able to receive electricity for more than 20 minutes. This is certainly the most worrying issue, from my perspective, it is a weakness of the design team.

I bought one to connect my external security camera for better coverage. It doesn’t work for me because the camera base station is too close to the main router, so it can’t connect to the extender to expand the camera coverage range. It’s not an error issue. This is mine, but the extender took away my office printer, iMac, and weather station. Everything slowed down to half my usual speed. When roaming at home, smartphones are perfect, but fixed devices used for fast driving can be damaged. So I got this to expand my existing 3 s networks. I am doing this because I need to use an Ethernet port. When I set it up, I realized that it didn’t have an Ethernet port. Then I replaced it with one of them and put the old one in my computer room. This is the fifth module I have purchased. Covering the small house, my wife’s office/ancillary building, and the indoor office in my pole barn. They provide sufficient throughput from inside out, including reliable video and streaming from my pole barn office. I have a weatherproof box installed on the power panel between the house and the pole barn office, where I have a stable video stream. I live in northern Minnesota and I don’t know if recommended such harsh, cold external locations for their routers, but it stays dry and has been good throughout the second winter. I added a fifth router to my wife’s office because she works from home and WiFi usage is quite resource intensive. The application allows you to accurately determine the optimal location for each router, including statistical data such as signal strength for each router. It also allows you to view every connected device on the network. I have no issues with the Secret Router, so when I seek an upgrade, this is my top priority. But on Golden Day, the promotion of routers is indeed very cost-effective. So I decided to give this system a try. The setup is very simple. I have been using this system for several months without any issues. I think the application interface of the system is much better than Orbi. I need to cover a range of nearly 7500 feet. The Orbi system requires fewer devices to achieve this coverage, but extenders are not too expensive, so you can add multiple extenders and create a system with similar coverage but cheaper. Technical support only wants me to reset the ‘router’, but may not understand which device to reset. Each 6e PRO router in the mesh refers to itself as a router, and routers connected to Internet routers refer to themselves as “gateway routers”. I returned the 2023 6 WiFi extender because it is not compatible with 6e.

Buying an device is meaningless and cannot serve as an extender. It must be connected to your modem and only replace an existing router in the same location. Perhaps buying more will scatter them, but one is a waste of money.

It’s easy to take care of me. There’s a weak Wi Fi pocket in that part of the house. Insert it and reset the connection to other containers serving too many devices. Now the load has been better balanced, and some devices are receiving better signal strength. It’s a bit expensive, but the effect is the same as advertised.

Buy more things than you expected. The more connections there are, the better the signal and reliability will be. Setting it up may be tricky, but these devices have indeed solved our problem. We have a place in the basement that points out of the window, providing a good 40 foot elevation drop and a separate structure 40 or 50 feet away. One and a half likes!!

We need something to extend into our yard/driveway/yard area (because my house doesn’t allow Wi Fi through my walls), but there isn’t much space and there’s actually only one plug. I added it to my father’s router 6+system with 2 beacons. I am building a house and currently live on the fifth wheel, which is just over 100 feet away from the house. We have a lighthouse on the window of the second floor room at the end of the house facing my RV. I do have wireless network, but the signal is not very good and fluctuates greatly. I bought this, went in and added it to the mobile application, it’s very simple. Then I unplugged it, took it to the RV, and placed it in the kitchen facing the window lighthouse. It took a few minutes to connect, wow my signal is amazing! My Dish Hopper’s signal strength fluctuates between 4 and 32, and now it’s between 87 and 96! My phone is already full, there were two before. I was very surprised that I installed this at a distance of about 106 feet from the router and beacon, and it worked very well. I strongly recommend this device!

Need to provide a larger coverage area than the beacon in the kitchen. I moved the beacon to the garage 50 feet away from the house. The extender in the kitchen now allows all of our devices to connect to a more powerful Wi Fi network.

As the title suggests, plug in the power, download the application, set up other routers around the house, and 10 minutes later, I have 150mbps on 6000 square feet plus deck and garage< I have been using since the second generation and they are very effective. There is 1 Gig wired connection here, 600 Mbps WiFi next to the router, and no less than 100 Mbps at the farthest point of the house< It does require 4 units, but you may be able to use one router and 3-4 extenders. However, I need more than one room with external Ethernet ports.
